نایب رییس دوم مجلس شورای اسلامی كه نمره قابل قبول و موفقی به عملكرد مجلس هشتم داد، افزود: در كمیسیون فرهنگی مجلس هشتم بایستی كارهای ماندگارتر و اساسی تری می شد تا مشكلات فرهنگی جامعه را رفع كند، اما این امر محقق نشد.

وی اظهار داشت: مسائل و موضوع های فرهنگی از ابعاد وسیع و پیچیده ای برخوردار است و این مسائل شامل مباحثی همچون گردشگری، ورزش، رسانه ها، مطبوعات، خبرگزاری ها، ‌دفاتر فرهنگی خارج از كشور، سازمان تبلیغات، سینما، تئاتر و موسیقی است و همین گستردگی كار باعث شده تا ما نتوانیم در بحث فرهنگی اجتماعی قوانین مشخص و مدونی داشته باشیم.
